Theology on Tapas- December 9
This online event will feature constructive conversations, professional development, prayer, networking, and resource sharing – through live events, social media, pre-recorded video workshops, and email communications. Recognizing the pandemic and the global and local realities that young adults are facing (and fully aware of the economic issues that have impacted the Church’s pastoral care with these men and women), the Forum will focus on “innovation in ministry” as a way forward. Inspired by Pope Francis’ 2020 message to young people (based on Lk 7:14), the theme of the Forum is Arise! Ministry with Young Adults in a Time of Innovation. For more information and to register, click here.
Called & Gifted
All of us have something to discern! The Office of Evangelization & Catechesis is looking for young adults or those that minister to young adults who are interested in forming the next Called & Gifted cohort. Called & Gifted is a process created by the Catherine of Siena Institute that helps people better understand spiritual gifts and how to recognize those gifts in themselves and others. The process will include a virtual workshop that lays the foundation for the beginning of discernment, an online Catholic Spiritual Gifts Inventory, a gifts interview to help you unpack your inventory, and working with a small group over several weeks to experiment with your gifts. Dates/times TBD. If you are interested, click here.

Peace of Christ
The Young Adult Ministry at Peace of Christ Parish ministers to young adults ages 18-39 who represent diverse cultural, racial, ethnic, educational, vocational, social, political, and spiritual backgrounds. The ministry follows the pastoral plan for young adults in the Sons and Daughters of Light. It is a growing ministry that would be blessed by additional engaged leaders.
