University of California Los Angeles By: Micaiah Scott

History of UCLA

UCLA was founded by Josephine and Joe Bruin on May 23, 1919 in Los Angeles to be one of the top-ranking colleges in California.

WHY DID I CHOOSE UCLA?

I chose to go to UCLA because they support and provide help for students to earn a bachelor/ masters degree in performing arts. UCLA is also one of the leading universities in music and the students within the school go out and do community services for Los Angeles and the state of California itself.

DREAM MAJORS

My first decision I would want to be after high school is that I want to earn a degree in performing arts and become a professional violist because I've had around 5 years of experience and would love to travel around the world with a real orchestra.

If that doesn't work out or I get tired of orchestra, my second decision is to become a professional recording artist (I'm actually not sure if that's right) for rock bands like Green Day and Linkin Park because I love those guys! And I also want to know what it feels like to be in a band.
