A Note From the Teacher

Dear Parents,

Goodbye January! Hello to February on Wednesday! We ended this week on an exciting note as we celebrate our 100th day of school! We made 100 piece Fruit Loop Necklaces, did 100 different exercises, counted to 100 in various ways…and MUCH more! Try counting 100 different items with your child this weekend. Would 100 pieces of cereal be enough to fill you up for breakfast or would you need more?

Next week, we will start our unit on penguins. We will also learn about Groundhog Day on Thursday. We look forward to an exciting week of learning.

We look forward to another fun and busy week together! Thank you for sharing your children with us! Have a great weekend!

Valentines Day - Wednesday, February 14

We will celebrate Valentines Day in kindergarten on Wednesday, February 14. We will be sending a class list home in your child's yellow folder next week so that your child can begin addressing valentines for their friends.

We will be making valentine holders here at school. If any of you would like to donate valentine stickers or adhesive backed foam shapes to use on our project, we would greatly appreciate it.

Please let us know if you have any questions. Thank you!
