A picture perfect moment.

As we all look forward to a much anticipated break, The Library Team would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a very Happy 2019. This moment in our library captures what we wish for you all this festive season, to be relaxed and lost in a book. Here is a list of good children's books that might inspire you to have a similar moment at home!

If you are travelling over the break you may want to visit Planet Peak on your devices and keep reading with the books we have available online. We do hope you have happy holidays and happy reading!

Happy Hanukkah to those celebrating the Jewish Festival of light!

Recently we've been working hard on growing our biography collection in the library. We've tried very hard to make the whole section more visible and accessible for our readers. Our efforts have been rewarded with a great deal more of the titles being borrowed in fact 4 times as many as this time last year. We are really keen to find as wide and vast a range of people to add to our collection so we'd really welcome any age appropriate biographies you know of in the following categories:

Authors and Artists

History Makers

Inventors and Business Leaders

Musicians ans Entertainers

Notable People

Sports People

We hope to grow this area so that our students can be inspired by the lives of many remarkable people and their incredible life stories.

Festive helpers.

On the afternoon of Monday 3rd December the library was filled with our dedicated parent helpers who came and wrapped many books for the children to be able to borrow in time for the holidays. Many new festive books have been added to our collection because of their hard work this week. Santa won't need to check his list twice for this group, they've definitely been good!
