Always wear sunscreen while exposed to the sun. Nearly 75% of all scalding burns can be prevented in children. Hot tap water burns cause more deaths and hospitalizations than burns from any other hot liquids. Burns can be treated by putting ice on it if it's a minor burn but if the burn is severe it is better to see a doctor.
First degree burn
First degree burns cause minimal skin damage. They affect the outermost layer of skin.
Second degree burn
Second degree burn damages extend beyond the top layer of skin. This type of extensive damage causes the skin to blister and become extremely red and sore.
3rd burn
Third degree burns are the worst burns. They cause the most damage, extending through every layer of skin. The damage can even reach the bloodstream, major organs, and bones, which can lead to death.
