Team Penn
Oct. 10 - 14
3 Day Breaks
- Place your students in teams one morning and give them a "challenge" to come up with a skit to present to the class of one of our schoolwide procedures such as walking in the hallway, sitting in the lunch room, etc. Have the one student team present their skit each morning during the sharing portion of Morning Meeting.
- There are fun songs, raps, chants and poems on uTube that you can use to remind students of expectations.
- If your students are struggling with a specific procedures such as the hallway, make it a girls vs. boys competition OR have your students work towards earning the letters in the word, "HALLWAY" for 10 additional LiveSchool points.
Everytime you include a little joy and laughter, students are more likely to remember it than "drill and kill", so have a little fun practicing procedures this upcoming week after a three day weekend!
PBIS Announcements
- The School Store opens this Friday! Students will shop during lunch and must have a signed permission slip in order to shop in the school store. There is a limit of 3 items per student. Teachers are responsible for supervising their class.
Shout out to Ms.Lewis, Mrs.Wheeler, and Ms. Mohney for being diligent about leaving comments with any negative behaviors.
- As a reminder, give classes 5 points for hallway procedures when you notice them in the hallway by clicking the Hallway Procedure button.
