Principal's Message - A Note of Thanks

Dear Falcon Families,

As we look forward to our Winter Break, I want to extend my genuine thanks to you all. The past nine months have been a challenge to say the least.

I am grateful for the partnership Pinewood school has with our families. Without your support getting our kids on Zoom, helping them complete work packets, and adhering to our health guidelines, I believe we would not have been successful in getting our kids back on campus for hybrid learning.

When we return in January, our immediate plans are not changing. Our intent is to return with our current hybrid schedule. In the event that there is a change made by the state, county or district, we will communicate that out to our families. Again, our plan is to keep going with our current instructional model.

I hope you have a safe and memorable holiday. May 2021 be a more prosperous year.

Happy Holidays,

Kim Little

Garden Update

Our garden elves of been hard at work refurbishing this space at Pinewood! The new redwood boxes are fantastic and have been filled with soil donated by Earth Traders Premium Landscape. We are excited that the Pinewood Garden will now include seating for outdoor learning experiences. We appreciate the countless hours that the Mannion and Mummy families as well as our friend Mary Zaun have invested into this project. Again this could not be possible without a grant from El Dorado Women's Fund.
