Come Back Home

We at Marian are filled with excitement as we prepare for our Homecoming on September 23, 2022. Marian has overcome many obstacles in the last few years and now, more than ever, it is time to “come back home”. Together, we will support one another in the classroom and on our sports fields, and we will continue to foster positive relationships infused with our Catholic values and beliefs.

During homecoming we will gladly welcome our graduates back to campus and celebrate all of their accomplishments. Let us all join together to recognize Marian Central's rich traditions and history, as well as our current and former students. Homecoming is such an important event for Marian. Our school spirit is a very important symbol and aspect of our school. We don’t cheer just to cheer. We are making memories that will last a lifetime.

All are welcome to “come back home”.

Senior Cap & Gown Orders

A representative from Jostens will be at Marian to meet with our seniors on Tuesday, September 27th regarding ordering their caps and gowns, graduation invitations and more. Below is additional information Jostens has provided to us:

We are privileged to assist with your families’ milestone of graduating from Marian Central Catholic this spring. Seniors will be given an information kit on 9/27 that will help them in submitting their order for the graduation cap and gown unit. Many families choose to add graduation announcements, accessories and apparel at this time as well.

Orders may be placed at school on Tuesday, October 4th during lunches or online at www.jostens.com by November 15th. The advantage of ordering at school is if you order some of the apparel items, they will be given out at school. Online apparel items are shipped directly home in a few weeks.

Thank you for allowing Jostens to share in this event and we would be happy to answer any questions – 815-477-3588 or todd.crandall.office@jostens.com.

Distinguished Alumnus

We are proud to recognize this year’s Distinguished Alumnus from the class of 1967, William Sullivan. Passionate about ending childhood hunger, Bill has dedicated over 7,000 hours to volunteerism with various organizations. He has shown generosity to others in their time of deepest need, giving back to help better the lives of children in his community and across the world.

Please join me in congratulating Bill Sullivan on this esteemed honor. Listen as Bill shares inspiring words with our students and Marian Central community.
