A Note from Ms. Alexander
Dear Parents/Guardians,
MASD schools practice secure in place and/or lockdown procedures when conducting a security drill. Schools are required to conduct one emergency drill within the first 90 calendar days of the school year in place of a fire drill and a second security drill during the second semester.
Broad Street will be conducting emergency drills following these guidelines throughout the
year. If you have specific questions about these drills, please consult the student handbook or feel free to reach out to me directly.
Also, be sure to check out the link below to the October Broad Street Community Meeting. You will meet the guy in charge of all of the construction happening and learn some hand washing tips. Enjoy!

On October 7th, go on a paw print hunt by going for a walk in the community and looing for paw prints. A hardcopy of the attachment was sent home at the end of September. If you need another copy see the attachment below.

If you do not have a parent portal account you may create an account at this time by navigating to http://sapphire.mbgsd.org and selecting Community Web Portal. Click the “Community Portal Application and Acceptable Use Policy Form link and follow the instructions.
The STUDENT EMERGENCY INFORMATION FORM must be completed EVERY year for EACH student!

The “Ready for School. Ready to Succeed” program connects families to preschool opportunities for children, ages 3-5.
