Bright Lights of Sept. 2016
We are getting the routines down!
Morning arrival on Nasty Days
Thanks for getting the procedure in place for days like Wednesday. The weather was quite unsettled and the rain and chance thereof was iminent. So, on days when the rain is pouring or the temperative is 0 or below, with the windchill, please drop the children off at the curb. I encourage you simply pull up as far as you can, and they can hop out, preferably on the curb side-much safer. I will be there to direct them in to assigned locations that are supervised by our staff. I will try to send a notification ahead of time. Many thanks, Mike
Merton Way
https://youtu.be/ROw1zQeHqUw See it right here-the coolest video with some of the best actors and actresses in the Primary School. Our staff members give the best and worst of the Merton Way during the video to help kids with their understanding of what the Merton Way means in different places around our school. Thanks to Ms. Kohnert for the production and taping of the video.
Photos of our days at the Primary
Instead of having you read a bunchof text-I thought photos are worth a 1000 words as they say. I hope you enjoy them.

Outdoor Sign and 9/11 Flag
There are times when we might miss the most obvious things around us. This is a gentle reminder to check out the outdoor sign for the information that it has. This weekend is the 15th anniversary of 9-11, 2001. We were on the playground waiting for school to begin whe we got the announcement.
By the end of that year, we had completed the mosaic flag in the main hall of our school. Mrs. Michele Bartelt designed and helped us to create each part of the flag. All students and staff are represented by symbols on this flag. You can see it in the photo below.
