How to set up a Homework Drop Box
Log in to Gaggle
- There is a link for Gaggle on the SISD homepage.
- When you log in, make sure to use your username @seminoleisd.gaggle.net
- Use your school password.
Go to the Applications Tab
Choose assignment drop box
Double click on the class you want to make an assignment for.
An Assignment Folder must be created first to receive any student submissions.
- Fill in assignment name in the subject field.
- You can select a Due Date (it will show on the student's calendar) and specify whether you would like to accept assignments after this date.
- Distribution date.
- Type in the assignment in the text box and/or attach a file if necessary.
- Click Submit to save the folder to the Drop Box.
- You will need to make a new assignment folder for each new assignment.
To view assignment
View submitted assignments in a box by clicking the + next to the folder, and then clicking a submission.
The assignments will be listed
Right click on the assignment to get options.
Duplicate Assignments for using the same assignment for different classes Click on class period and duplicate assignment. You can do this for each class. Mark it up is great for grading assignments and sending back to students online. You can add comments, highlight, add text. Mark it ready for return. Return to student after you grade, or wait until the entire class is done. The paper never needs to be printed. Works for Word and Powerpoint.
