Zoom Etiquette

It's important to have conversations with your child about Zoom etiquette looks like and sound like during class meetings. As we want to remind our students during this time we are considered in school. Listed below are some highlighted areas that will help make our Zoom meeting most successful.

  • Being respectful at all times.
  • Stay engaged with the lesson and topics
  • Dress school appropriately
  • Have Zoom on mute unless talking
  • Avoid distractions
  • Use school language
  • Have well lighted environment for viewing
  • Listening to Speaker
  • Find a quiet space
  • Be mindful what is behind you

We need your Feedback!

Every year we ask our parents to provide feedback regarding the Leader In Me Implementation at Blackhurst. Your feedback helps the school plan for the following year. If you take the survey, please send me an email letting me know you took the survey. Every parent who fills out the survey and notifies me will be entered in a drawing! We appreciate your support in helping make Blackhurst a great place for all students to learn and succeed!!

The parent/guardian survey takes about 12 minutes to complete and will ask questions about your child and about his or her experience in our school. If you have more than one child attending the school, you will be asked to think about the oldest child's experiences as you answer questions related to his or her growth.
