A little about me...
I was born right here in Roanoke, VA and have a younger sister. My childhood nickname was Blee and my favorite childhood memories are those spent with my family, especially going to the beach and Virginia Tech football games.
What did you want to be when you grew up? Professional soccer player
Unique skill or talent: Driveway chalk art; a variety of soccer tricks
Hobbies/Interests: Virginia Tech sports; video games, coaching, cooking, time with family
I met my wife, Mandy, at freshman orientation at Bridgewater College, which was the first opportunity we would have had to meet each other. We've been together ever since, and have been married now for 13 years. We have three incredible kids. Charlotte is nine and loves school, reading, gymnastics, swimming, and softball. Jackson is seven and loves soccer, basketball, video games, and playing tricks on his sisters. Our youngest, Ellie, is three and loves keeping up with her siblings and doing whatever they are doing. We also welcomed Maggie, a yellow lab rescue, into our home a year-and-a-half ago.
Our family moved to Botetourt about 7 years ago and have enjoyed learning about the county and experiencing all it has to offer, especially the outdoor activities.
A little about my education...
Elementary School: Oak Grove
Mrs. Gould was my kindergarten teacher and one of my favorite teachers during elementary school.
Middle School: Hidden Valley
Mrs. Boone was one of my 6th grade teachers who I especially liked.

Go Titans! I played soccer and basketball while I was at Hidden Valley. I also helped create the ping pong club. I enjoyed Mr. Mahan's history class. It didn't hurt that he was also my soccer coach!
