McKissick Academy News: 1.15.2021

Good Afternoon Shark Families,

Just a reminder that there is no school on Monday. It is a holiday for MLK and Tuesday is an asynchronous day of learning. Teachers have already posted the activities for Tuesday in each student's Schoology page. Please complete this work so your student doesn't have an unexcused absence for Tuesday, 1.19.21. Finally, Wednesday is when we welcome PCVA students back if they chose to come to F2F! It begins our 3rd nine weeks. Have a great week-end!

Committed to Success,

Heather Touchberry

K3/K4/K5 Registration-spread the word!

Kindergarten Registration for the 2021-2022 school year is open!

Parents can begin the registration process online by entering their information into the New Student Gateway.

5K Registration

Children turning 5 years old on or before September 1, 2021 must register for 5K (Note: children currently enrolled in an SDPC 4K program are automatically pre-registered and do not need to complete the online registration).

For more information about 5K registration, click here!

4K Registration

Children turning 4 years old on before September 1, 2021 may register for 4K. Our preschool programs are not universal; our 4K programs meet the needs of children who are considered “at-risk” based on established criteria (Note: children currently enrolled in an SDPC 3K program are automatically pre-registered and do not need to complete the online registration).

For more information about the 3K and 4K screening process, availability, and registration, click here.

3K Registration

Children turning 3 years old on or before September 1, 2021 may register for 3K at Liberty Primary School. All students must screen and qualify. Priority is given to students who live in the Liberty area attendance zone.

Before registering, we encourage parents to check what school they are zoned for by using our School Locator. If you have questions about registration, please call your future school directly. Phone numbers for all of our schools are listed in the School Directory.
