subtracting integers
- change the sign of the integer that needs to be subtracted.
- If both signs are positive the answer will be positive.
- if both signs are negative the answer will be negative.
multipling integers
- to multiply integers, always multiply the absolute value and use these rules to determine the sign of the answer.
