Keeping Students Safe
Our ability to sustain in-person learning in D140 is dependent on our collective efforts to maintain a safe and healthy learning environment. We will continue to track districtwide data, metrics provided by the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH), and Northwestern University Medicine, and monitor the ability to maintain our safety protocols as we implement our Hybrid in-person learning model.
Students and families can do their part by:
Completing the Student Self-Certification Form honestly and staying home when you are sick or have been exposed to someone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days.
Washing hands regularly and using hand sanitizer.
Wearing face masks appropriately.
Covering your coughs and sneezes
Maintaining 6-foot physical distancing whenever possible.
Being mindful of our activity outside of school and the potential impact it may have in school.
