In case you missed it in last week's ISP News & Notes, the Office of International Student Programs is offering trips this week to area destinations. See below for details and how to sign up.


Also below is information about what's open on campus this week.

Wednesday, March 11 - Atlanta Botanical Gardens

Visit the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and enjoy the fields of tulips and daffodils as well as "Orchid Daze: Pop!", the Garden's new exhibit featuring thousands of orchid arrangements inspired by famous Pop artists.


Vans depart from the Oxford Transportation Hub at 10:00 a.m. and return on campus by 4:30 p.m. Students are responsible for the admission fee ($18.95 plus tax) as well as the cost of their lunch.


Limited to 12 students. Sign up in the ISP office no later than 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 10.

Thursday, March 12 - High Museum of Art Atlanta

View the permanent collections and the special exhibits at the High Museum of Art including "The Coca-Cola Bottle: An American Icon at 100", "Imagining New Worlds: Wilfredo Lam, Jose Parla, and Fahamu Pecou", and "Gordon Parks: Segregation Story".

Williams Gym

  • Weight Room, open M-F, 4:00-7:30 pm
  • Pool, closed all week
  • Basketball court, closed all week for floor refinishing

Library

  • M-F, open 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Saturday, closed
  • Sunday, 2:00 pm - 2:00 am


Off-Campus Access - Did you know that you can still do research off-campus? During Spring Break you still have access to library resources, even if you aren’t on campus. Use the Databases@Emory page to find article databases, or use DiscoverE to search for books and more!

Attention, graduating international students!

The Oxford College Office of International Student Programs is considered whether or not to host a graduation reception for international students. We would like to measure the level of interest in such an event. If you are graduating this May, please take a moment to answer an extremely short survey.
