To check a student out, your name must be on their contact list. To add or update that list please see the directions below.
Step 1: Open your web browser and go to https://update.cherokeek12.net/
Step 2: In the box labeled "Username", enter the Student School ID.
Step 3: In the box labeled "Password", enter the Student GTID.

Parking Applications
We are not accepting parking applications from sophomores at this time. They will be able to purchase parking 2nd semester based on space available. More information will come out about that in December.

PSAT - dates and information
The PSAT/SAT will be offered at Sequoyah High School on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
9th graders will take the 8/9 PSAT (no cost or registration)
10th graders will take the PSAT/NMSQT (no cost or registration)
11th graders who would like to attempt to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship may take the PSAT/NMSQT by registering and paying the $18 test fee via the new district payment processing platform (directions linked below)
12th graders can take the SAT by registering and paying the $60 test fee via the new district payment processing platform (directions linked below)

Registration will close on September 4, 2023. Late registration cannot be accepted.

The Café Chief A Latte Coffee Shop, operated by the SHS Achieve Program, is open daily from 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (schedule varies on homeroom/TAA days). Cash, online payment, and Coffee Shop punch cards are accepted. The punch card worth $12.00 in beverages can be purchased at the coffee shop or the online store for $10.00.

Parking on campus reminder
Students parking illegally on campus will be ticketed and fined. For the students with a parking permit, you must park in your assigned spot. Parking anywhere else on campus could result in a ticket and a fine as all spots are assigned.
National Spanish Honor Society
If you have a student that is currently in Spanish 3 with an A average, they can apply to become a member of the National Spanish Honor Society. Please CLICK THIS LINK to apply.

Applications are being accepted through August 25.
The induction ceremony will take place on September 7.

Beta Club Information
Media Center
The media center is open before and after school from 7:45am - 3:45pm.
Passes are usually available for the second half of lunch periods if it is not booked for testing and other media specials.
Students may come in during lunch to read, study quietly, work on laptops if available, print, check out books, and much more. They can see Mrs. Franchini and Mrs. Judkins for help.
