Week 7 - Term 2 2022

Big picture

Kia ora e te whānau,

With all the wild weather we have enjoyed having a calm day today! Tāwhirimatea has certainly been busy.

We have been enjoying our visits to the Life Education van to see Marsha and Harold the giraffe. Our focus has been on teamwork and working together.

We are all looking forward to the first Matariki public holiday next week. Classes have started to do a Matariki inspired artwork as part of our learning.

Keep warm and stay safe!

Ngā mihi,

Pounamu Teachers.

Matariki Disco - Friday

Friday, June 17th, 5-6:30pm

Our School Hall!

Don't forget to dress up!

Covid - Orange level expectations

There are no requirements for masks at our year level but Pounamu children and teachers may decide to wear masks if they choose to.

We are able to have syndicate assemblies inside.

Parents are allowed onto the grounds but are asked to wear masks if they are coming into a classroom.

Library times

We have turns going to the library on Fridays. On an odd week Rooms 3 & 5 go, on an even week Rooms 2 & 4 go.

This week is week 7 so Rooms 3 & 5 will be going.
