The following are links to resources to help support professional learning for staff that support students with ASD. They are free, but do require you to sign up for an account.
Access free AFIRM online modules and resources for each of the 27 evidenced-based practices identified by the National Professional Development Center on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Also available are free resources for supporting children and youth with ASD during uncertain times such as COVID-19.
AIM is designed to provide high-quality information and professional development for anyone who supports, instructs, works with, or lives with someone with autism. Each module guides you through case studies, instructional videos, pre- and post-assessments, a glossary and much more. AIM modules are available at no cost. If you would like to receive credit for your time on AIM, certificate and credit options are available for a fee.
The Project Core implementation model is designed to empower teachers and classroom professionals to provide students with access to a flexible Universal Core vocabulary and evidence-based communication instruction. The implementation model includes the following components:
