We've added a Weekly Checklist. There is one graded assignment for each subject. The Graded Assignment is noted with a ** on the checklist.

What are we learning this week?
This week you will add to your knowledge of area by learning about PERIMETER.
- You will know what the word PERIMETER means.
- You will know how to calculate the PERIMETER of a shape.
- You will be able to find the missing length of sides and then calculate the PERIMETER.

- You will REVISE your MAIN IDEA as you read further into the text.

What are we learning this week?
This week you will add to your narrative writing by looking at the MAIN CHARACTER in your writing.
You will think about your MAIN CHARACTER and:

- what they would say in different situations
- what is the last thing you want your reader to "hear"
- how to "wrap up" your writing with DIALOGUE

This week we will continue to learn about the GRASSLAND environment and how animals have ADAPTED to survive.

- Describe your animals adaptation in the white area around your drawing.
