We Wish You a Merry Christmas
It is hard to believe that 2014 is almost over! As the year draws to a close, I am reminded of how much the students have learned and changed so far. They are all joys to work with and we cherish having them in our class. We are grateful to have such supportive and generous families and we wish you a truly special and safe holiday break.
LAST WEEK'S ADVENTURES
Students enjoyed the book Tacky and the Winter Games. We even made up the rules to our own Winter Games!!!
After reading Alphabatics, students made letters with yarn on sandpaper.
As the year progresses, the children's hard work is paying off! They have learned to do many things on their own including opening their snack packages, pouring their water, and even dressing and undressing!
After reading Snow Party, students opened a "mystery gift" and had a blast building and creating structures.
A Gift for You!
Your kids worked hard to make a special Christmas gift for you!
Students worked together in pairs to build catapults and fling "snowballs" across the room. They measured and compared how far the snowballs flew.
