No School Days on Monday 10/12 and Tuesday 10/13
Face-to-Face Phase Confirmed For Next Week
On October 14th, we return to full face-to-face instruction. Please read below reminders:
- Students come to school 5 days per week; Wednesdays become regular school days.
- Students should be in uniform.
- Morning time drop off opens at 8:30.
- Bus Information is available, and school breakfast + lunch is currently free.
- Please bring a water bottle to use at bottle filling stations.
- Backpacks are not allowed at this time, but binders and RCMS string bags are.
- Students should bring needed school supplies; we won't have communal supplies.
- Masks are mandatory for all students and staff. Gaiters and vented masks are not ok.
- Please review our "Top 5 Things to Know."

- Read the 10/9/20 letter (e-mailed and posted on site) from Dr. Blackwell.
Parent (Student) COVID-19 Reporting Portal
- Once you access the platform, please complete questions within the report (i.e. student’s name, school, grade, testing information, etc.).
- The information will be sent to FCBOH public health officials who will contact the parent submitting the report directly to follow-up on the report and provide guidance.
- The FCBOH public health officials will communicate pertinent recommendations, guidance, and follow-up with the Fulton County Schools (FCS) Student Health Services team.
- The FCS Student Health Services team will share information with district leaders /principals as deemed appropriate to ensure the appropriate district response.
- Depending on the severity of the reported case after the investigation, the district will respond as noted in the FCS COVID-19 Response Plan/Closure Matrix.

Run, walk, or take the steps challenge on the RCMS Family/Friends team at The 7th Annual Footprints for the Future 10K/5K/1K VIRTUAL Race and step challenge!
The virtual event is from November 1st through November 15th. Proceeds will help fund SSEF's targeted work supporting Ridgeview and our local public schools in Sandy Springs!
Race registration includes a t-shirt and digital SWAG from sponsors and community supporters. To guarantee each race participant a t-shirt, registration and payment must be received by October 16th.
Awards will be given to the largest Sandy Springs public school team and the biggest corporate or community team.
