Water Conservation

Why Conserve Water?
Utah is the second driest state in the country. Yet, Utah has the highest water use per person. While we are using all that water, over 1,000,000,000 other people don’t even have access to clean water according to http://everylastdrop.co.uk/. Everyone is affected by water, because we need it to live. Literally 50% to 78% of the human body is made of water. Usually saving water is easier than you might think. In fact, National Geographic noted that about 10 gallons are lost just to leaks around the house. Also, if taking baths is your style of getting clean, you might want to reconsider. On average, a bath uses twice the amount of water as a shower. As http://www.ecy.wa.gov/programs/wr/ws/wtrcnsv.html mentions fixing leaks, and watching the way you use water are probably the best ways to lessen the amount of water you use.
Plan For Action
When we save water, it protects the environment, and also saves you money.
Over 1,000,000,000 people already don’t have access to clean water. If we continue to do nothing to address the issue that number could increase exponentially.
