Job Opportunity at the Extension Office

Applications are now being accepted for the position of 4-H Support Staff at the Nebraska Extension Cass County Office in Weeping Water. This is a full-time County paid position, with some night and weekend hours required. Benefits include Health, Retirement, Vacation, Sick and Holidays.

It's time to re-enroll for the 2019-2020 4-H year. The enrollment site is open!

As of today, the Nebraska 4HOnline enrollment site is open. Go to: https://ne.4HOnline.com (there was a short delay, but now it's open!)


  • Leaders, volunteers and 4-Hers who were enrolled in 4-H this past year, need to re-enroll for next year.
  • Anyone new to 4-H needs to enroll.

ANNOUNCEMENT - New 4-H Club in Cass County

A new special interest 4-H club has been formed in Cass County. It's called STEAMrollers. It is a STEAM Club (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) and is based out of Plattsmouth, NE. The leader is Margaret Stamp. If you are interested in this kind of club, please contact Margaret at margaretstamp@hotmail.com or call her at 402-312-4289.

We are going to have a cake walk at the "Blast from the Past" Achievement Party. If you would like to make a cake, or another sweet treat for the cake walk, please do! We'll need lots of cakes for this game.

Also note .... new kinds of awards are being presented at the Achievement Program this year. It's a year you won't want to miss!

It's almost time to vote! The voting link for new council members will be open October 25th. It's going to be an awesome year to be on the 4-H Council. Our new educator, Lauren Stohlmann, has some new and fun things for the council members to do! Hurry - call the office. Nominate someone, or put your own name on the ballot.
