Professional Learning Opportunities
1. SAVE THE DATE - NCTE is coming to Atlanta, Georgia, November 17 - 20, 2016. Additional information about a curated experience for Georgia teachers is forthcoming. Until then, check out the NCTE website for additional conference information.
2. Summer professional learning – Dodge Learning Resources is sponsoring the Georgia Conferences on Learning and Teaching – Perry, GA June 7 – 8, 2016. The conference theme is “Teaching Across Curriculum Boundaries.” Session content is aligned to topics needed for teachers’ professional growth in teaching reading and writing, especially argument writing, and reading complex texts in the content subjects. Please check out the presenters’ topics and descriptions for details (see attached).
