The Aurora Borealis is a natural wonder that is caused from highly charged electrons from solar wind, when it interacts with elements in Earths atmosphere. The best place to see the Aurora Borealis is in a northern location. The best time to see the Aurora Borealis is when the solar maximum, which is when the sun peaks in storm activity.intense spots are seen at dawn in the Northern summer Hemisphere, and at dusk in the Southern winter Hemisphere. The color of the aurora depends on the wavelength of the light emitted. A folklore of the aurora is,In Finnish, the name for the aurora borealis is "Revontulet", which literally translated means "Fox Fires." The name comes from an ancient Finnish myth, a beast fable, in which the lights were caused by a magical fox sweeping his tail across the snow spraying it up into the sky.
