Good-bye
IB Class of 2013
You did it!
I'm sure there were times during the past two years when you questions whether or not it was possible, and now you can finally say that you did it! Congratulations on completing your career as an IB Diploma Candidate. I hope you find time this summer to rest, reflect, and have some fun.
Ordering your IB transcript
In order to get college hours for your IB Diploma, you will need to have an IB transcript of your scores sent to your college. Here's a link to the website; you can do this online or through the mail. Results will be released in early July.
CLEP testing
If you aren't able to get as many college hours as you hoped from your IB and/or AP exam scores, another option is CLEP tests. Ask about these at your freshman conference or talk to your college adviser (not all colleges accept CLEP, but it's worth looking into since the test is cheaper than the cost of tuition).
One more thing ...
I have made the difficult decision to leave Bryan High School. I am moving to Austin to live closer to my nephew (who is 2 and really, really funny) and be an awesome aunt. It's been an emotional decision since I love BHS and the B/CS area has been home for a very long time.
It has been a great pleasure to be your guidance counselor these past several years. I hope you will let me know if I can do anything for you -- my life email is heididoodles@gmail.com. I found out last week that I will be a counselor at Westlake High School, so I will eventually have an email address there if you want to look me up that way.
I wish you all the best in your lives.
