2022 Fall Fundraiser

Support your club and 4-H council by participating in the 2022 Fall Fundraiser. From chocolates and snacks to meat and cheese, offer your friends and family an opportunity to support their local 4-H while at the same time getting a jump start on their holiday shopping! Come in to the office to pick up an order form!

Fundraiser is set from October 28th to November 14th. Make sure to have your order forms back into the office by 5:00 PM on November 14th! Contact the office at (308) 262-1022 or krosas2@unl.edu for any questions!

4HOnline 2.0 & Open Enrollment

It’s time to get enrolled in 4-H for the 2022 4-H year! Nebraska 4-H has transitioned to 4honline 2.0. To enroll, click on the button below.

For returning families, please do not create a new account; rather use your log-in credentials for 4honline used in previous years. Please note the enrollment fee for Morrill county is $5 per 4-H member/ $0 for Clover Kid member and is paid either online or at our office.

2023 Special Garden Project: Mrs. Burns’ Lemon Basil

The 2023 Special Garden Project will focus on Mrs. Burns’ Lemon Basil. This herb can be used multiple ways. Lemon basil has a unique lemon flavor can be added to any recipe or used as a cut flower in arrangements to add scent and interest.

Veteran's Day - November 11th

Veteran's Day is coming up, and with it comes a great opportunity for our 4-Hers to foster civic responsibility as well as get a head start on some 4-H projects! Here are a few ideas!

Care Package Display - Choose and organization (military, law enforcement, fire dept., etc.), and create a care package to give them! Think about what items you would like to include that would bring a smile to their faces!

4-H Club Exhibit - A club as a whole can come together to give back to those who serve our community! They could create care packages or write letters or thank you cards to send/give to a service organization.

4-H STEM Challenge

This year’s National 4-H STEM Challenge will take students to be Explorers of the Deep! Explorers of the Deep focuses on the mysteries and adventures of ocean exploration—with robots! Young people learn how to use science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to explore Earth’s Ocean and how it relates to all life on the planet.

The 2022 Challenge helps young people develop observational and critical thinking skills while exploring the interconnected nature between the ocean and humans, regardless of where they live. They will learn about the incredibly complex relationship between Earth’s oceans and the global climate. According to a recent survey, 84% of teens would like to be involved with shaping the future of our environment.

Explorers of the Deep can help empower young people to innovate and take action to drive positive change.

Attention High School Seniors!

Get a head start on scholarships! The Nebraska Association of Fair Managers will award a $500 scholarship to one qualifying 4-H male and a $500 scholarship to one qualifying 4-H female who are graduating seniors in the State of Nebraska and who plan to continue with post high

school education. The scholarship will be awarded at the annual NAFM convention in

January. Download the scholarship application by downloading the link below. This scholarship is due to the Morrill County Extension Office by November 30th, 2022.
