  • Sullivan wanted to give customers tea and used little bags for them to carry in
  • One day Sullivan accidentally put the bag of tea in his mug and created the teabag
  • First teabags were made out of gauze and punched paper
  • Came in 2 sizes: One for a mug and one for a pot
