Online Registration

The Online Annual Registration Update is available online and awaiting responses from families who indicated their intent to return to Franklin for the 2019-2020 school year. The online annual registration update is a required step in securing your child's seat for the 2019-2020 school year.


How do you get started?

Visit https://ps.franklin-academy.org/public/ or click on the link below to sign in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal. From the Parent Portal:


  1. Select the student you wish to register along the top
  2. Select the InfoSnap 19-20 Student Registration
  3. Enter the child's date of birth


PARENT AND STUDENT ACCESS TO POWERSCHOOL WILL SHUT DOWN ON JUNE 17TH. RE-REGISTRATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE THE 17TH.

Service Hours Due June 30th

Please remember that all service hours must be completed by June 30th. Families that fail to satisfy this annual requirement will be notified and may be asked not to return for the following year. Students will also be restricted from extracurricular activities. We will have lots of jobs around campus to be done once school lets out for the summer, so please contact Mrs. Greenman or Mr. Ospina to sign up!

Summer Learning

The Summer Slide is proven to be a setback for many students but can be avoided with continued academic focus intertwined with summer fun! This summer's learning packets are attached to this newsletter. Please take a look at the summer learning packets below. Let's keep the learning going and make sure our students have the best start to next year!


There are recommended titles available for Elementary School and required readings for Middle School. There is no required i-Ready this summer, though it is encouraged.

Supply Lists

2019-2020 Supply Lists are available below. Please be sure to bring your child's supplies to Meet the Teacher so they do not have to bring them on the first day of school.


We are also partnering with a new vendor, 1st Day School Supplies, for pre-packaged supply kits. These kits match the grade level's supply list and will be delivered directly to the school. You will save time and money by purchasing these kits and the school receives a portion of each kit's sale price as well. Orders must be received by June 30th! Admin. Change

Director of School Operations, Mr. Ospina, will be transferring to the Boynton Beach Franklin campus as of July 1st. We are sad to see him leave our campus but know he will do well in Boynton and take comfort in the fact that he is still a part of the Franklin Family. Ms. Ellis and Mr. Monds will be joined in June by our new Assistant Principal, Ms. Jessica Gamache. Additional information about who to contact in administration will be sent out as we approach the new school year.
