What is BCS 101?
Berkeley County Schools 101 (BCS 101) is an introductory community ambassador program designed to educate and instruct attendees on such topics as curriculum and instruction, district operations, public school finance, technology implementation and other district administrative programs and services provided for our students and families.
This monthly program is open to families, community members and staff who wish to learn more about the district and be willing to share the information within their circle of influence. At this time, sessions will be held each month via ZOOM teleconference platform.

When are the sessions scheduled?
Participants in the 2021-2022 BCS 101 program will meet from 6 to 7 pm on the following dates:
Tuesday, October 26th : Welcome to BCS/Student Services
Tuesday, November 16th: Child Nutrition
Tuesday, January 25th: Student Services
Tuesday, February 22nd: Special Education Services
Tuesday, March 22nd: Child Nutrition
Tuesday, April 26th: School Finance
At this time, sessions will be held via ZOOM teleconference platform so access to the internet is important. Deadline to apply is Friday, September 17th. There is no fee to participate but we do need you to register an email address to receive the Zoom information.
