Tim Berners Lee
Tim Berners Lee was a computer scientist. He was born in the southwest of London on the 8th of July 1955. He was keen in trainspotting and learned about electronics and tinkering a model railway. What he achieved And like most people he was overloaded with work and wanted a more efficient way of organizing work. He had two ideas the first was hyper text which was a way where a word from one document can link to another document but this was already been used by individual databases and CD-ROM's. The other option was the internet which was an internationally agreed method where a computer could send text and documents to another computer when it was connected. He called it the world wide web but because it was world wide the internet needed rules to be able to work properly in one language. His idea now has helped people all around the world connect with each other. He then was knighted by the queen for his pioneering work.
