tomorrow is Mid-Winter Break - No school - Friday thru Monday, Feb. 18 - 21
Letter from the Principal
Dear Central families,
I wanted to take a moment and thank our amazing PTA for all their support, especially in these days of restrictions and safety protocols. They have worked hard to stay connected with our school, families and the community of Snohomish. They have a few exciting upcoming events that include Art to Remember projects, a Fun Run in April and supporting our Spring Into Kindergarten on March 16. If you are interested in joining this great group of people, please reach out to me or our office staff. We would love to have you join our super fun PTA group!
Just a reminder, this weekend is Mid-Winter Break. There is no school on Friday, February 18 and no school on Monday, February 21. We look forward to having your students back at school on Tuesday, February 22. Thanks for all your continued support with our traffic safety before and after school and have a nice break this weekend.
Warm regards,
Heidi Rothgeb
Principal, Central Primary Center

Spring Into Kindergarten
Mark your calendars for our Spring Into Kindergarten event. All 2022-2023 kindergarten families and students are highly encouraged to attend. Spring Into Kindergarten will be held on Wednesday, March 16, from 4-7 p.m. at district elementary schools. Families should complete their registration online (birth certificate, immunizations and proof of residence can be uploaded or brought to school) or return the paper version of the registration paperwork at the event. Paper packets will be available the beginning of March. Each school will also be conducting school tours and having important information available for families (WaKIDS, PTA/PTO/parent organizations, bus transportation, special services and more).
More event information and registration materials will be available in the coming weeks. Learn more at www.sno.wednet.edu/kindergarten. Online registration is now available for next school year at the Snohomish School District website.

Important Message from our District Office
Masks/face coverings
It is clear in the updated guidance and from directives from Governor Inslee that masks/face coverings are required inside of all K-12 schools and on all buses, regardless of vaccination status. This is a state requirement. Masks/face coverings are not required when outdoors. Mask/face covering exceptions may be made for students with certain medical conditions or receiving special education services in some cases and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
