Marion Jones


Marion Lois Jones was born on October 12, 1975. She is also known as Marion Jones-Thompson, a former world champion track and field athlete, and a former professional basketball player for Tulsa Shock in the WNBA. She won five medals at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia.

What did she take?

Marion Jones took steroids and performance enhancing drugs, although she was tricked, she did not know that they were drugs. She thought they were flax seed oil and arthirits balm.

What happend after?

After admitting in 2007 that she had taken performance-enhancing drugs, she was stripped of the gold medals and other honors won after the 2000 Games.
