Message from the Principal
I wanted you to know that over the next week Michael Griffin, assistant principal at Woodinville High School, will be supporting our Woodin community on the days and times I am out of the building taking care of a family member. Please feel free to reach out directly to your child's classroom teacher, to the Woodin office (wooffice@nsd.org) or directly to Michael Griffin at Mgriffin@nsd.org. Please copy me on the email, as I will continue to check daily.
In partnership,
Dawn Bowers

Parking Lot Reminders
The safety of your children is our top priority throughout the school day, including during dismissal. Please read AND follow these important carpool and parent pick-up procedures.
Carpool “DOs”:
Please pull to the curbs along NE 195th Street. This allows our buses to drive up the middle of the street and enter the bus lot easily.
When entering the car line in the bus zone, stay to the left. The buses will pull into the right side of the bus lot. We need to fit two buses into that lot, and the bus drivers have requested extra space so they can enter the lot without damaging a car (i.e. - removing your side mirror; scraping the back of your car!)
Please be patient.
Please STAY IN YOUR CARS AT ALL TIMES!
If you need to park, the ONLY parking available is on the North side of 195th, West of the barricade. (You can only access this if you are driving down from the Holly Hills neighborhood. This street is ONE WAY heading west - from the neighborhood toward the school.)
Please DO use the crosswalks when walking to school.
Please be respectful of our neighbors by pulling close to the curb so the middle of the street is open to their cars and emergency vehicles.
Carpool “DON'Ts”:
Carpool lanes are NOT loading zones, and there is NO PARKING allowed.
All students are to be picked up in the lower lot, NOT in the bus loading zone.
Do NOT make a U-turn in front of the Holly Hills no entry sign. Follow the car line into the bus loading zone and down into the main parking lot.
It is unsafe to cross through the bus lot, and/or cross the busy 195th Street. Please help us keep you and your children safe by using the designated crosswalks.
Please, please, please DO keep your eyes on the road, and NOT on your cell phone while waiting in the carpool lanes.
Your cooperation in keeping all members of our Woodin family safe is greatly appreciated!
