How it got it's capital
From 1763 to 1960 Brazils captital was Rio de Janeiro.Resousres tended to be centered in Brazil's southeast regionnear Rio De Janeiro. Brasilia's geographically central location fosterd a more regionally neutral federal capital. A artical Of the countrys first Republican constitution dating back to 1891 stated that the capital should be moved to a place closer to the center of the country. 1827 was when Jose Bonifacio conceived this idea. He then presented this plan to Genral Assemblyof Brazil for a new city called Brasila and that to be the capital.
