Welcome to Virtual Curriculum Night
Welcome to Arbor View Elementary Virtual Curriculum Night. Our hope is by using this virtual delivery format, we can help maximize your time as well as give you important information about your child's classroom. You will gain valuable insight into your child’s grade-level curriculum, Arbor View teaching strategies, and classroom expectations. Hear all about your teacher’s plans for a successful year with your child. After you have reviewed the video(s), if you still have questions about the classroom, please reach out directly to your student's teacher via phone or email.
Challenge, English Language, Special Education, and Intervention Teachers will send videos directly to individual families.
You won’t want to miss it!
Reminders about parent involvement during remote learning
We appreciate the many families who have provided supplementary tech support during remote learning. We ask that other than supporting your student with technology issues, you treat learning time in remote learning the same as in-person learning time. Just as you wouldn't unexpectedly show up during in-person instruction to ask questions about your student, please bring individual concerns to your teacher outside of live-instruction time.
Also, please note that students and parents are prohibited from audio- or video-recording teacher instruction, taking screenshots of recorded instruction, or otherwise copying and manipulating the recorded instruction for personal use, including posts on social media accounts. Your student remains subject to the District’s Acceptable Use Policy and Board of Education Policy 7:190, Student Behavior.
