Children's Cancer
The Cancer Carers are ready to help, are you?
What is Cancer?
Cancer is a disease that children, men, and women sometimes go through. Cancer is a deadly disease but can be curable if found early enough, but still a rough journey. Cancer patients have to go through chemotherapy which causes hair to fall out, as well as being tired, and it leaves the patient achey and soar.
Causes
In some cases, children are born with cancer. Children can also be diagnosed with cancer without a known cause.
How to Help
Some ways to help include volunteering at your local hospital or clinic. Also you can help by donating money to a children's hospital for pediatric cancer. You can spend time with children going through cancer treatments.
Statistics
Cancer is less common for children than adults. One in two hundred eighty five children will get cancer and be diagnosed with this disease.
Donate or Volunteer
Donate money to the American Cancer Society or volunteer at a fundraiser that supports research for children's cancer.
