Queen, the Kings of Rock
Do you know the song, "Bohemian Rhapsody" or even, "We Will Rock You"? If you do then you know queen. These songs help kick start their career.
This British rock band formed in London, 1970. The original members were Brian May, John Deacon, Roger Taylor, Paul Rodgers, and Freddie Mercury. As Mercury died and Deacon retired, two new people joined. Adam Lambert takes Mercury's legendary place, and Paul Rodgers takes Deacon's spot.

In 2001 Queen was inducted to the "Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame". By this time they had 18 number one hit albums , and 18 number one hit singles. they had an estimated sales of 150 to 300 million records sold!

Freddie Mercury's real name is Farrokh Bulsara. When he joined the band he legally changed it. Before "Queen" was called "Queen", it was called Smile, until Mercury changed it. Freddie has died and Deacon retired from the band.
