Career Description-
>Fashion designers create original clothing, accessories, and footwear.
>They sketch designs, select the fabrics and patterns, and give instructions on how to make the products they designed.
Education?-
>Most have a bachelor's degree in fashion design or fashion merchandising.
>This is needed for this occupation if you are wanting or willing to become as successful as possible in the career field.
Certification/License?-
> To become a Fashion Designer there are no specific certifications or licenses needed just mainly a bachelor's degree is required.
> It wouldn't hurt if you had one though it would probably increases your chances in that career field.
Internship?-
Day on the Job-
>Most fashion designers work full time, however there are few that work part-time and that is allowed.
>The most that work long hours meet with the productions deadline of the designs/products for the upcoming fashion shows.
Salary & Demand-
>The yearly wage for fashion designers in May of 2012 was $62,860.
>In 2012 fashion designers held about 22,300 jobs available.
