Following the success of the Rapid Progress For Boys’ Writing (*Girls’ Too) course developed for the National Literacy Trust, this brand new course will provide you will a wealth of new exciting writing projects for your pupils.
If you’re school is looking for new ideas and better ways to transform writing outcome for all pupils (including pupils with SEN, reluctant writers, behavioural issues and those supported by pupil premium) then this hands on course is for you. This full day course, based on ideas which have been delivered in both key stages, will provide you with a wealth of writing projects to really bring the curriculum to life and inspire young writers.

- A clear and structured whole school approach to teaching all genres of writing.
- Ideas on how the use of mobile technology can bring cross curricular writing to life.
- Share a range of exciting stimuli (including games, animations and videos) to not only engage writers but most importantly raise standards across the school.
- A bank of exciting ways to develop creativity, spoken language and ideas for cross curricular writing projects (including all subjects across the curriculum) to take away for Early Years to Key Stage 2.
*The course features the use of iPad Minis, which will be provided on the day (no experience necessary).

Course Presenter
David Andrews works extensively with a large number of schools delivering lessons and sharing ideas with teachers on how the planned use of mobile technology can have an immediate and sustained impact on standards in writing across the curriculum, in all year groups. He has presented his work at sold out conferences for The National Association of Head Teachers and Focus Education. He was co-author of the popular Rapid Progress For *Boys Writing (*Girls' Too) and has delivered INSETs on this unique approach across the UK.
