The 15 member varsity team consists of students in grades 6-8. They are coached by Dr. Eric Rexer and Ms. Lisa Solesky with the assistance of dedicated parent volunteers. Watch the video that showcases the team's accomplishments.
Spring Concert
Choral Director Matthew Clark shared, “Through a fully remote environment, chorus students learned and recorded an extensive and varied repertoire of music, achieving a Division I rating at the Organization Contest sponsored by the Illinois Grade School Music Association. More importantly, students learned that choir is not only about in person singing and performing for a live audience. Centered on the values of musicianship, teamwork, service, and community, we accomplished our goals for the year of learning exciting and diverse music, discovering and strengthening our natural voices, nurturing existing interests and cultivating hidden talents, and creating a family atmosphere where everyone is welcome and every voice is heard.”
Visit Mr. Clark’s YouTube channel to watch songs from the concert. Performances by the chorus will be featured at next week’s graduation ceremony.
