Biography of the Wright Brothers
Wilbur, being the oldest out of the two, was born on April 16, 1887 in Millville, Indiana. Orville three years later was born August 19, 1871 in Dayton, Ohio. They were the youngest out of the seven kids. After their mother had gotten into a sporting accident Wilbur called off college to take care of her and Orville dropped out of his senior year in highschool to tag along. To keep the family up and running the boys made a printing business and wrote a daily paper. The boys never got married. The first “plane” they made was actually a glider but as time progressed they had figured out how to have a working engine and complete flying controls.
