TSIA2 SATURDAY ADMINISTRATION DATES
Humble ISD offers several ways for high school students to earn college credit. Your child can start taking advantage of these learning opportunities during the Humble ISD Dual Credit Summer Academy after 8th grade. The first requirement for an 8th grader is to take the TSIA2 exam (Texas Success Initial Assessment 2.0). This exam is a placement exam used to determine college readiness. Humble ISD will be administering the TSIA2 exam on the following dates and locations:
For the 2022-23 school year, the dates for Humble district TSIA2 Saturday administrations are:
- January 28, 2023 - Sconzo Early College High School
- February 18, 2023 - Humble High School
- March 25, 2023 - Summer Creek High School
- April 15, 2023 - Atascocita High School
Students from the hosting campus will be allowed to register approximately two weeks prior to the administration, and students from the rest of the district will be allowed to register for any remaining spots about one week prior to the administration. To sign up use the Humble ISD TSIA2 Registration Form. The same form/link will be utilized for each administration. Once all available spots are filled, the form will be made inactive until registration begins for the following administration date.
Students take TSIA2 tests on a computer and results are provided immediately upon completion of the exam. For more information, you can visit the College Board website.
Information on the Humble ISD 2023 Dual Credit Summer Academy
will be sent by Humble ISD to parents in February.

February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month
Every February, young adults and their loved ones join across the country for a national effort to raise awareness about the issue of dating violence through Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month (TDVAM). This annual, month-long push focuses on advocacy and education to stop dating abuse before it starts. This year Humble ISD is providing several opportunities to help spread awareness of healthy relationships by providing information to parents, students, and staff. By increasing knowledge of behaviors that are healthy and safe, we can make an impact on the rate of unhealthy behaviors.

Humble ISD has partnered with the Houston Food Bank to provide food for students in need.
