I am so excited to be returning to Anderson-Shiro Elementary where my teaching career began in Jan 1990. I graduated from Sam Houston State University Dec 1989 and began teaching in the old Elementary School. I have also taught in Montgomery, Richards and Bryan ISD as well as stayed home with my own 3 children and owned a daycare. We live in Stoneham and our oldest, Gracie, is a senior at Texas A&M. Our middle daughter, Meghan, is a sophomore at the University of Arkansas and our baby boy, Micah, is a senior at Navasota High School. My husband Greg is in the agriculture business.
Now that the kids are older I have more time to read, cook and walk. I love teaching! I am so thankful that God has opened this door for me to be back in ASCISD!

Brandy Price
My name is Brandy Price. My hometown is Montgomery, TX, however my husband and I have been Navasota residents since 2010. We have two boys, Sage (10) and Ryder (8), that attend Anderson-Shiro Elementary. I substituted at ASCISD for a year and a half, while completing my certification. I did my clinical teaching in 5th grade math last fall.
I am a Fightin’ Texas Aggie class of ‘98. My degree is in business management with a minor in HR. I have worked in technology and construction, as well as owned my own business. My husband, Cole Price, raises cattle of his own and has various partners in the Grimes County area. Between both of our journeys down different paths, I am able to bring various real life examples into the classroom.
I am more than excited to share my love of math with my students. I thrive on relating to each individual on their level. My experiences allow me to connect in a variety of ways. I grew up a farmer’s daughter, raised pigs for the fair, spent holidays at the deer lease, watched my parents lose everything and work hard to get it all back, moved to Montgomery in Junior High, made new friends, danced on the drill team, graduated from college, worked in a BIG city, moved back to a small one, married a cowboy, learned to work cattle, went to beauty school, opened a spa, became a mom, supported both of my parents through beating cancer, survived an 18-wheeler accident, helped build KYLE Field, and became a teacher! I would not change any of it! I feel like this crazy FULL circle has brought me here today and filled me with excitement, love, and compassion I want to share and spread in the classroom!
I am honored to be given this opportunity and look forward to a great year of “Building Champions”!!!

Craig Jackson
My name is Craig Jackson. This is my first year at Anderson-Shiro. I will be teaching Geometry and Math Models this year. My undergraduate degree is math and my graduate degree is business. During my eleven years teaching both elementary and high school, my most enjoyable memories are watching kids go bananas for technology. From the first computers I built in the early nineties for children to Visual Basic programming I taught to seniors, it has been my experience that technology definitely enhances instruction by making math real and relevant.
My wife and I are twelve year residents of Cypress, Texas, and our two children attend college in Texas. Before Texas, we lived in New Orleans where I grew up. I am a passionate gardener and especially love native Texas desert plants, parks and landscapes.
I am really excited to be at Anderson-Shiro and am looking forward to getting to know everyone.
