Morning Car Line Reminders
2. The only entry point for joining the car line is at the main entrance (the one with the red light).
3. Please stay in your car. You do not need to help children out--we can help if necessary. Or you may park and walk your child to the front door.
4. Pull all the way to the end of the drop off area.
5. Students should be ready to exit the vehicle.
6. We have a high volume of morning car riders since the buses are running early. Leave early--at 7:10 you will pull right through.
7. Be nice. Follow the rules. Be courteous to one another and staff.
It's time for the Book Fair!

Summer School Learning Survey
Fulton County Schools (FCS) district leaders are committed to hearing about parents’ experiences with Summer Learning 2022. In keeping with this commitment, we are now offering a Summer Learning Survey to gather the insights about your children’s learning experiences this summer why you may or may not have chosen for your child attend Summer Learning.
This survey is for ALL parents of invited students, whether or not your child attended summer school.
The FCS Summer Learning Survey will be available to parents from August 22nd through September 9th. You can access it through the QR code below or on the FCS website.
Please note that you do not need to take this survey if you already completed a survey in July about your children’s Summer Learning experiences OR if your child was not invited to participate in Summer Learning 2022.

Additional Survey Information:
FCS has contracted Gibson Consulting Group (Gibson) to evaluate Summer Learning during 2022. As part of this evaluation, FCS and Gibson have created a survey for parents of ALL students who were invited to attend Summer Learning. We want to know about your experiences with Summer Learning, why you may or may not have chosen for your child attend Summer Learning, and your overall satisfaction with the Summer Learning process.
Information gathered from these surveys will be kept confidential and presented to the district as an aggregate. All anonymized results shared with FCS will be used to guide decision making about future implementation of Summer Learning programs.
Please contact Dr. Stacia L. Long, Research Associate at Gibson (support@gibsonconsult.com) with any questions you may have about the survey.
We look forward to learning from your experiences and survey responses!
PBIS Rewards Parent App
ALL families are required to review the Code of Conduct and Student Handbook. All students above 10 years of age and their parents, guardians, or other person having control or charge of the child is asked to digitally sign acknowledging receipt of the Code of Conduct and Student Handbook. Currently, 42% of our families have completed this important process.
Parents and students are able to digitally sign by using their online portal or the app on their smartphone/device. Attached is a document that includes a step-by-step “how to” guide for completing the digital signature process. Please ensure your family has signed off on the Code of Conduct and Student Handbook by August 31st.
A change in this year's Code of Conduct, please make note that all personal communication devices, including cell phones, are not allowed during the school day.

Chick-Fil-A
Calling all Chick-Fil-A Chicken Biscuit lovers! Rather than hosting a Spirit Night (which we still may do!), we're bringing the food straight to the school, the kiddos, the teachers and staff, and you!
Friday, September 9th, before the start of school, we'll be selling chicken biscuits at the entrances (front and back) of the school. We will sell each for $5; CASH ONLY PLEASE! All proceeds fund the school. All biscuits feed each consumer's belly. We will sell until we run out of supply and adjust future quantities in response to demand.
This will be a monthly recurring event. Starting in October, Chicken Biscuit Day will likely shift to the first Friday.
Birthday Banner
Celebrate your student's birthday with a birthday announcement on the school’ s outdoor LED sign! The birthday name will be displayed for one (1) week starting on Monday. Half birthdays can be celebrated too for those summer birthdays :). The cost for this opportunity is $20 per birthday. When you sign up, please include the student's First name and Last Name Initial.

PTA Volunteers Needed
Are you interested in volunteering at a PTA event but do not want to lead a committee? We are always looking for some helping hands!
Carpool Helpers Needed
Let's pitch in to give our amazing teachers a reprieve from carpool. We are seeking help during AM drop-off and PM pick-up. All volunteers will be provided a super snazzy reflective vest during their shifts. Thanks to all who can help!
This will be a recurring event on Wednesdays throughout the school year.
PTA Green Committee Volunteers Needed
Whether you have a green thumb, or know nothing about plants/gardening/sustainability and just want to help out or connect with other SBCE parents…
Whether you want to spend a little time or a lot…
The PTA Green Committee welcomes you!
Parent Volunteers Needed
Seeking parent volunteers to copy, laminate, and organize these materials! The response thus far has been AMAZING! We're still in the thick of it, so if you're available to volunteer, please email Ms. Gruber to schedule your first visit. Previous volunteers can continue to come and go as your schedule allows.
If you are unable to volunteer during school hours but open to helping from home (cutting, bagging), please email Ms. Gruber.
