Pink Kangaroo Weekly Update
Week of February 8, 2016
What we are learning....
We introduced the letter "O" this week, and we learned some new words including octopus, overalls, otter and olive. The children used their little fingers to put Cheerios on octopus arms...all eight of them! We have moved on to the number 4, and we enjoy counting everyday in all that we do!
We are so proud of the Pink Kangaroos for being able to recognize their names when they arrive at school. They will continue to work on pencil grip as we help them trace the letters of their names.
Love is in the air here at school! We painted valentines with pom-poms and delivered valentines to one another as well. Thank you very much to our parents that helped make our Valentine's Day Party a JOY!
Books we have read this week:
Little Owl's Night
Olive the Octopus's Day of Juggling
The Best Thing about Valentines
Important Information
