First Grade News
First Graders are falling in love with books. We have been celebrating Rose City Readers' Week all week with guest readers. On Friday we will dress as our favorite book characters while parading around KRS with pride in our reading.
Fourth Grade News
Fourth grade has been doing some science investigations to start off the school year to learn more about energy! We worked in groups to make catapults and explored how to make a ball go different distances. We also used batteries and sugar cubes to see how energy can transfer from one object to another. This week we used pendulums to discuss potential and kinetic energy and to explore how energy transfers and transforms. We are looking forward to more hands-on science experiments in the future!
