Celebrating 100 Years of Music Education in Waunakee Schools
A Winter's Night Concert
Monday, December 12th, 7:30 pm
We will celebrate 100 years of education in Waunakee Schools by highlighting some of the major events of the past century. From the Depression to World War II to the Cold War, we will highlight composers and poets that created art in the ever-changing landscape of the past century. We are excited to collaborate with Madison and Waunakee area artists including Sonia Driskill on Harp, Leonardo Arturo Quintero on classical guitar, Sam Robinson on percussion and Ellen Traeger on piano.
Come enjoy an eclectic mix of music and grab family members or friends to join you!
Help Us Celebrate with a Donation that will Resonate for Years to Come
Our Steinway piano, which will continue to serve us in the choir rehearsal room, was designed for home use and is not match for the sounds that our ensembles create in our large performance space.
When you donate, you'll be included on a celebratory plaque, prominently placed outside of the Performing Arts Center. Those wishing to make a larger contribution can purchase specific keys on our piano plaque.

A brief reflection for each goal is due January 6. Students and I will be conferencing individually to determine their grade for this project in their last small group Jan. 6 through Jan. 13th.
THERE WILL BE NO CHOIR FINAL. These projects will serve as our "final project", therefore it is a large portion of the choir grade this semester.
